Vintage Egyptian-revival Rare Pink Scarab Gold tone Clip-on Earrings

These vintage, Egyptian-revival clip on earrings feature pink stones carved into scarab beetles. They don't appear to be glass, like many of the other scarab earrings are. The back of the stones have been engraved, but it's in hieroglyphics, or some other language that I can't read! It's hard to see, and even harder to photograph (I did the best I could)! The previous owner glued green felt on the clip-on part of earrings, so these will need some cleaning up. They'll be sent in their as-found and as-in condition - Please view all photos!
