This PATTERN uses a mix of techniques: foundation paper piecing, stack and slash (improv piecing), and traditional piecing, to achieve the final product. The star, bottom of the tote, and the pocket are easily completed with fabric from your scrap bins or your stash since such a small amount of fabric is needed. The main body of the tote (besides the superstar) is made from a stack and slash technique, where you'll end up creating a scrappy background using 10 squares of 10 different fabrics.
