HOT ! Gayle Clark Vintage Walter Anderson inspired Sterling Silver Cat Necklace

This is a rendering of Mississippi Artist Walter Inglis Anderson “Cat” by the late Gayle Clark in Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace. (See photo of artist signature and credit to Anderson.)

The necklace is app. 18"; the pendant measures 1 5/8" x 1 1/2". (Note: chain alone is 16” and easily removed if a longer chain desired.)

“Sterling” etched on back.
Very good pre-owned condition.

I purchased this item perhaps 20 or more years ago and just adore it.
I have long admired the Art of Anderson, and to find his work translated into jewelry by another favorite Artist Gayle Clark, RIP was just perfect!

Hoping to find buyer that agrees!!

I cannot say with certainty, but feel this design may be based on the famous “Robinson” from the wonderful book by Walter Anderson!

Also of interest is “Cat” alphabet art as seen in Anderson’s marvelous “Alphabet” book.
