More information about 【Fully Functional & Excellent Condition】KENWOOD DMC-V55 Black MD Player
【Tested/Main unit only】
Released by KENWOOD in February 2004, the "DMC-V55" is one of the highly refined later models among portable MD players. Its attractive aluminum faceplate, lightweight and portable body, and above all, its design prioritizing sound quality—a hallmark of KENWOOD—are its charms.
The sound tends to have fine grain, meticulously reproducing the nuances of each instrument. The midrange is solid, making vocals sound clear and prominent. It also features a sound design that is not fatiguing to listen to.
To fully appreciate this model's capabilities, it pairs exceptionally well with wired canal-type earphones. Combining it with dynamic-type earphones, particularly those excelling in midrange reproduction, further enhances the V55's delicate and nuanced sound.
The unit has been tested and confirmed to work with both gum-type batteries and AA batteries.
Playback, stop, and skip functions all work without issue.
The overall body is exceptionally clean and in near-mint condition.
Before shipping, the unit will be retested, and carefully packaged for delivery.
Immediate purchase is welcome.

⭕The Difference Between the T55 and V55: The "Density Difference" Only Apparent Through a Direct Comparison (Personal subjective opinion)
KENWOOD's T55 was released in Autumn 2003, and the V55, which followed a few months later, is truly a "finished product."
Both share similar internal components and size, appearing almost identical at a glance. However, the "depth," "richness," and "fineness of grain" become instantly apparent upon listening, showcasing the V55's true strengths.
While the T55 offers a bright and flat sound quality, the V55 boasts a wider range, greater information density, and depicts even the background of the sound.
The thickness of the low-midrange and the spaciousness are particularly noteworthy, demonstrating the expressive power of a higher-end model.
